We are so excited to welcome you to the Rimonim Torah School! Please complete this form for each child you plan to register. The 5783/2022-2023 school year begins on October 25, 2022 and ends on June 13, 2023. We are planning to meet in person at the St. Francis Cabrini Shrine (701 Fort Washington Ave). Classes will meet from 4:00-6:00pm on Tuesday afternoons. The schedule is subject to change based on COVID precautions and best practices, particularly if we need to limit the number of people in the space. Nitzanim (K-2nd Grade) and Shorashim (3rd-5th Grade) will meet separately in two different classes. While we are not able to provide transportation from local schools, we are happy to help you coordinate with other families. More information will be shared with you as we approach the fall. Hebrew Chavruta Online is how we teach Hebrew literacy for tefillah and Torah reading at Rimonim Torah School! Students work in pairs online with a tutor for 30 minutes and families can split the tutor’s fee. If you choose to opt in, we will connect you with our Hebrew Specialist, Dani Apple, and coordinate with you later this summer. Family Beit Midrash is a four-part Shabbat afternoon program to supplement Tuesday’s Rimonim Torah School learning. Family Beit Midrash is open to all students enrolled in the Torah School and will take place on four afternoons in November, January, March, and May from 12:00-3:00pm of this school year at Hebrew Tabernacle (551 Fort Washington Ave). This program is an opportunity for students, siblings, and caregivers to engage together in a deeper learning as our inaugural cohort. This year’s theme will be about lifecycles! Family Beit Midrash will take place after shabbat morning services, including lunch, learning for caregivers with clergy and for children with educators before coming together for singing and reflection.
