Kiddush

Nearly every week, different members of the FTJC congregation will sponsor a Kiddush following Shabbat morning services. After the introspective experience of davening (praying), Kiddush gives all members of the community an opportunity to socialize informally – a time to catch up with old friends and make new friends.

We rely on generous sponsors from the community to fund Kiddush.

Celebrating a special occasion? Marking a loved one’s birthday, a milestone or a yartzheit? An anniversary or an engagement? Or simply love to feed your community? Sign up to sponsor a Kiddush!

If you would like to make any changes to the Kiddushes presented, i.e., if you require a Kiddush for an increased number of guests, email us at kiddush@ftjc.org and we will put you in touch with our Fairway Kosher Catering contact.

**Please note: All Kiddush requests must be made at least a week in advance of the desired Kiddush date**

For Saturdays without a full kiddush sponsor, we are introducing the Snack Kiddush at $50. Cookies and chips and maybe a l’chaim.

Feel free to share your sponsorship with friends or let the Kiddush Team match you up with other sponsors. Remember that just $36 gets you in, and lets you share a delicious kiddush with your community. Other multiples of $36 are also encouraged.

To sign up or if you have questions, email the Kiddush Team. You can also fill out this form below, keeping in mind, nothing is booked as final until you hear from the Kiddush Team.

Remember to let us know as early as possible if there’s a special Shabbat you want to reserve! Dates book up quickly, so reserve your special weekend now. While the Kiddush team makes every effort to accommodate requests for specific dates, sponsorships are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
