In April's Limmud U'Maaseh, Shorashim will have a learning and commemoration event in honor of Yom HaShoah. Our focus will be on recognizing and acknowledging the difficult decisions and great risks that many people had to take during the Holocaust in age-appropriate ways. We will also explore how issues of refugee status, protecting minorities, and safety are still present in our lives today, and how we can make sure we “never forget” through our actions.
