In this election season, questions about leaders and leadership are high on our minds. With a close reading of a long sugya (passage) from the Talmud's Tractate Horayot, we'll see how the Rabbis wrestled with leaders who err, who want out, and who are confused about their role. We'll try to distill values to help us think about current events.
